What is Vitamin E?

Vitamin E is a lipid-soluble antioxidant that may appear as tocopherol or tocopheryl acetate. It helps condition the skin and is frequently paired with vitamin C, plant oils and emollients. Because it appears in many products at low levels, Eden should tag only formulas that actively highlight vitamin E or use it as a meaningful part of the formula.

Who is this collection for?

Especially useful for normal, dry and mature skin, though lighter vitamin E serums and sunscreens can suit combination skin. Customers who find rich oils congesting should choose a less occlusive texture.

How to use it

Use according to format: antioxidant serums after cleansing, creams after treatment steps, lip products as needed and SPF last in the morning. Follow storage directions for vitamin C and E antioxidant serums.

What it pairs with

Pairs particularly well with vitamin C and ferulic acid, and also with ceramides, squalane, peptides and hyaluronic acid.
